It was the other way around, idiot. Chavez did not know who that giant is. Most people don`t know who Blake is, only in the US basketball scene.

everyone in the US knows who griffin is, not just in the basketball scene. meanwhile only ppl interested in boxing know who chavez is in the states.

the nba is much bigger internationally than boxing and griffin is a bigger star in basketball than chavez is in boxing so on a world level griffin is much more well known too.

mexico is probably the only place chavez jr is more well known.
