Agreed, that's why I'm wondering if December would be too soon. Could potentially be a great bout if Froch doesn't land the Kessler fight.

True, but Froch wants Kessler more IMHO is willing to do this after Bute is dispatched. That close lost to Kessler is probably on his mind. This is provided that Dawson does reasonable well against Ward.

Froch would be a good opponent. December would not be to soon. Ward wins on points by a wide margin.

Lean towards Dawson but I need to see froch again after that bute fight to know if it was just a bad style for bute or if froch has found another gear

Froch holds a tittle so he would be a logical fight for Dawson. If the date was late December that would give Dawson about 100 days between fights which should be enough time if he does not get hurt against Ward. These days big stars often take lots of time off between fights but they don't need to. In my previous post I meant to say Dawson beats Froch on points by a wide margin.Sorry.

It's a triangle theory but isn't Pascal their only common opponent?

                  Yeah.

Dawson has hella talent but the fact is he's like Judah and can have a brainfreeze at any given time

So he's never a lock to win any fight

Yes. Dawson looked like crap against Pascal. If he performs like that against Froch he will lose. That was the worst Dawson I have seen. I hope he never fights that poorly again. Froch is dependable. He gives a good game 100% effort every time. I just think if Dawson is at his best he can beat Froch with his speed and boxing skills.

Would December be too soon for a bout between them?

How do you see this fight going?
I think so,and with Dawson eagerness to prove he is one of the best I think this is a very realistic fight weather Dawson wins or not..

I think Dawson is trying to prove he is more of a dangerous focus finishing kind of fighter..Both B-Hop fights I saw a different Dawson then in the past, tbh even in the fight with Pascal(toward the end)he got very aggressive and did really good work, but this will work in Froch's favor imo..Not saying Froch beats him, just saying Froch Dawson will make for one hell of a fight..I will ride with Froch(one of my fav fighters)but this is a toss up imo...

Hell I don't even know who I like in the Ward Dawson fight...Leaning towards Dawson tbh..
