    Lamont Peterson Should Serve Jail Time for Cheating Against Amir Khan?

    Peterson did something which is equivalent to attempted murder in some states. Using PEDs to improve your performance in boxing can sometimes be fatal. A boxer who wasn't in the same sort of superior condition as Khan could have possibly been permanently injured, or even killed, by the steroid-cheat Peterson.

    The steroids were the only reason Peterson was able to last the full fight against Khan. It's seriously time to make an example out of Peterson and help get these drugs cheats out of our sport today. Jail time is a good step to help make this a reality and Peterson is the ideal candidate to begin with. It's time he was locked up for his crimes.

          He should have been arrested on the spot and sent to jail.

          This is one of the few sports where the object is to physically harm your opponent more so than he does you. Steroids in this sport is much different than steroids in baseball, although I don't condone it in any sport.

                      Peterson isn't the 1st to fail a test,why not arrest everyone else who cheated or failed a test?

                          No. Unfortunately its actually possible to use synthetic testosterone in combat sports and get a pass from the commission if your paperwork is in order. He should be suspended and fined pending his hearing to hear why he did not disclose what he was taking.If he would have disclosed it the fight probably would have went on as planned.
