I would think a test in the final week along with other testing throughout would be fine.

During that last week a guy is no longer really training so right on fight night while seeming like a decent idea might be a bit excessive.

Also these tests do take time, they can probably get done a bit quicker but that would make something already costly even more expensive but if it can't be done in time so the result are known before the fight why bother.

Then if they test positive they have to do the B sample~


Just seems like a big cluster fuck to do that, for what seems like little reason.
