    Carl Froch is the first...

    British boxer to win any sort of medal at the amateur world championships back in 2001.

    I find it astonishing that only a decade ago Britain managed to medal at these championships for their first time. He won bronze btw.

          Its unbelievable how many top world class boxers are coming out of the UK. Expect few more potentials at the olypics.
