Just finished watch Klitschko vs Thompson

Wlad is so confident now that he pressures sooner than he used to. He is still cautious but he doesn't just jab until the late rounds. He sits down on his punches earlier. The only way I see anyone giving him a problem is if they can make him uncomfortable. Make him fight at a faster pace and open up more than he would like. If he can jab a bit and measure right hands then it will be trouble for anyone. People have to stop bringing up the past with Wlad. He's not the same fighter that Peter dropped three times. He's definitely not the fighter the suffered those KO losses years back. Instead of being critical of this guy at this point people should just hope that a dynamic fighter comes along that can push him. Based on the fighter he is today it would be fun to watch if that fighter comes along. Part of the problem is the guys that are around need to at least test themselves against each other before stepping up. The guys like Fury/Povetkin/Mitchell/Arreola need to test themselves against each other before taking on such a dominant champion. I understand in the case of Mitchell they want to bring him along slowly but for the others time is wasting.

Son, no one is going to beat the Undisputed IBF/IBO/WBO/WBA/Ring world champ. He's just too good. . . .. . .

Its not even about beating him. I would settle for someone providing a challenge. Push him. I want to see him outside of his comfort zone. I think it would prove to the haters that his demons are gone and be great to watch.

Allowed is a strong word, but basically Wlad is invincable if he is allowed to fights to his strength. He still has those weaknesses but they are so well covered by other strengths now that it is very hard seeing any of the chumps even presenting a stiff challenge to him.

Hopefully a great heavy falls out of the woodwork sometime before he retires so we can really gauge what he has.

I think his mental makeup is different now as well. Those weaknesses were amplified by his lack of confidence in taking damage. He's mentally stronger now so I'm interested to see what happens in a tough spot.
