My word! And he kept fighting! His career was in jeopardy, no one fights on with broken jaws!

I was waiting to hear what happened to Mathebula's mouth, it was obvious something happened. He went completely in a shell after it happened, and he was spitting up plenty of blood.

Not saying he did it illegal, just a dramatic change in attributes.

not sure if anyone else noticed.
does he still mess with Conte?

Peterson and Berto also volunteered for extra testing.Until you ACTUALLY pass the test it does not matter.

Yeah I knew when he completely stopped throwing in the 11th and he was spitting out a lot of blood it was broken. At the time I thought that was going to cost him a close fight, of course only to find out the judges had that thing scored miserably. I agree Donaire won, and he closed the fight like a champion should, but that doesn't excuse joke judging. I think the backlash we are going to see from the Bradley vs Pac decision is an even more biased lean towards the "name" fighter by judges.

According to this ESPN story by-lined by Michael Woods, Donaire first learned of Victor Conte during an accidental meeting in a bank in San Mateo, CA, and enlisted Conte's services right before meeting Hernan Marquez in Puerto Rico in July 2010. Before meeting Conte Donaire had already dispatched Darchinyan, Maldonado, the undefeated Raul Martinez (dropped Martinez twice in round 1 and again once in round 3 and again round 4) and Manuel Vargas. Of the 5 opponents he faced since Darchinyan and before Marquez, only one, Rafael Concepcion, went the distance. On the other hand, of the five fighters he faced since Marquez, three went the distance (Narvaez, Vasquez and Mathebula) and only two were stopped, i.e., Sydorenko and Montiel.

Link to Michael Woods' article on ESPN ( go straight to the paragraph right beside the picture of Donaire dealing a right to Rafael Conception):

Yes it does matter because that means Donaire is clean unless or until proven otherwise.

Tell Donaire to take the test... The Rigondeaux test.

it LOOKED exactly like what happened to ortiz...

funny how people are starting to question whether donaire is clean when he accepts testing 365. geez, theres no pleasing people.

andre ward works with conte too. no one makes a stink about it though. no one ever questioned peterson neither.
