looking at the facts, martinez must be really close with the WBC because he went on record and put them and HBO on blast not too long ago lol. get real chavez.

also, why does everyone get all excited about him knocking out andy lee yet say martinez didnt look impressive against macklin? from my perspective and from a rankings perspective, macklin is a better fighter. andy lee was winning until chavez knocked him out which i give him credit for. but martinez did the same thing. anyone that watched that fight can see that martinez didnt actually start fighting until the 8th. he basically knocked macklin out in 3 rounds....if chavez gets credit for beating lee, martinez should get credit for making macklin look like a bum.

What hate can do to a moron without an ounce of brain......Chaves Jr. did good vs Lee and so did Sergio vs Mcklin but it took him longer (that Mathew is better than lee maybe so) but let give credit where credit is due.

I really don't think this fight will go how everybody thinks. I'm not a Chavez Jr fan, but he has improved a lot. In my opionion outside of Pavlik and Williams, Martinez hasn't fought real tough competition of course neither has Chavez. I really don't consider Pavlik or Williams ELITE fighters good but not ELITE. I don't recall ever seeing Chavez hurt so I assume he has a chin. I just think Chavez will eventually wear him down with body work. Martinez has shown that he tires in the late rounds, with that being said I think it will be a better fight then people think.

I can already see the aftermath of this fight, everybody will think boxing is rigged even more then they already do because nobody thinks Chavez should be able to beat Martinez. Why people think that I don't know, but I really think he can beat Martinez. I'm no Chavez but I think this will be a tough fight for Martinez.
