So you're pretty much saying promoters own your soul? Idk man... this is ridiculous. Why would Oscar/GBP even do this? This is only gonna hurt their rep, everybody's rep. Canelo's and GBP's.

I'm not saying that, I'm wondering if this isn't true. I personally know of at least one pro boxer that asked that a clause be included in his contract stipulating that he be given a say as to who he fights. In his particular instance he doesn't want to take fights that will in anyway hurt his chances at bigger paydays. Everyone is real quick to cast blame on a fighter but you would not believe how these promoters word some of the contracts that basically gives them ownership of their fighter. Come on, don't tell me Arum/Pacquiao doesn't ring a bell?

the last couple days i have read threads about broner and mikey garcia being overrated or over hyped yet i have been hearing much more about canelo and for a longer period of time than i do broner and garcia

Those two are some over rated fcks. As is moreno and the dominican welterweight. These guys have done nothing yet people claim they will beat every one and their mother. Moreno is a little more proven but a darch comming of defeats and siderenko dont cut it for me to be included in the p4p list.

so it's ok for you to **** on up and coming fighters like broner and garcia yet you get upset when people talk about canelo ?canelo fans don't act like he can beat everybody?like i said befor canelo has much more people talking about him than mikey and broner do so that means that more people act like canelo is the next big thing in boxing than any other up and coming fighter
