i aint saying this fight is the worst possible but it does NOTHING for canelo's prestige, nothing for his strength of schedule and dam sure nothing that would be remotely considered "history". compared with dlh's buildup this is junk.

Seriously, a premature announcement of a Lopez fight is the only thing that would make Mayorga seem acceptable. That's why I am still skeptical on this news of Josesito, it sounds like too much unless there is a catchweight - and even then, he was just in a war.

Oscar could be trying to play it conservative and see if Arum is really gonna make that JR fight happen. The press conference for that fight is tomorrow afternoon....if Sergio doesn't show and it resembles Rios/Gamboa debacle......this Canelo fight could be all we're left with lmao

Of any fight with even an ounce of justifiability (that being he beat Ortiz) this is the worst. IMO.
