      The Roger Mayweather quote is funny as hell but it actually explains it pretty well.

      Despite being a billionaire Steve Jobs was still competitive until he died, Bill Gates is still competitive with his company and I think that goes for Bob Arum too. They all want to be the best and most successful at what they do and of course success in their field is defined by the financial return, i.e. profit.

        But then again Arum is in his 80s, Jobs and Gates are in their 50s.

          Look at all the old mofo's who are in politics. Arums loves taking part in the politics of boxing..we all agree half of boxing is politics.....it's the one place where his age, wisdom, experience gives him a serious advantage over others in making that money. its probably fun as hell outsmarting oscar and dibella and such

            Well to take another example, Warren Buffett CEO of Berkshire Hathaway is 81 yrs.
