He's a ducker 100%. He signed the fight then when his people realized that Thurman isn't a pushover and has real welterweight power they pulled the plug on it. If i can remember correctly this isn't the first fight he pulled out of. Let him fight Lucas Mattheyse and I guarentee you Mattheyes whips him.

Marcos Maidana went to Germany to fight Kotelnik, he fought Victor Ortiz at the Staples Center (when the kid looked the part of a beast and he wasn't even with GBP), he fought an undefeated Victor Cayo, the then #2 ranked Jr. Welterweight Khan as the B side, and then went to St. Louis to fight Devon Alexander AFTER Kotelnik and Matthysse were robbed there. These were all top 10 fighters in the division, when he fought them.

You must be just itching to call someone, ****, anyone a duck... If anything, Maidana should be given respect for going anywhere and fighting balls out every time out. ****ing irritating when fighters like Maidana, Campillo, Martinez, Froch, Matthysse, Salido, are disrespected on some ******ed ****.
