What the **** makes you all think that he could beat Jones when he can't even beat Taylor now? First, he'd have to MOVE UP in weight to fight Jones, and he's never done that before. His defense will still be tight, but he'll fatigue faster, and he won't hit as hard, not even with his head. Hopkins would be hard-pressed to beat any world class fighter anymore, simply because of his age. His defensive style keeps him in fights, but he's not going to be able to have the output to beat ANYONE above middle.
I'm pretty sure you're going to be in the minority on this one. Hopkins easily beats Roy at this point.

I'm going to have to disagree with you on this one. Even a pot-shotting, shoddy Light Heavyweight Jones embarasses Hopkins as much as he did in the first fight (providing Hopkins moves up). If Jones moves down, then Hopkins will eek out the victory because of the obvious strength advantages.

After seeing Jones against Tarver in the rubbermatch I would say he needs to hang them up for good. He didn't even put in much effort in that fight. I think Hopkins still has enough to win a decision over the gunshy low confidence Roy Jones of now.

I think Taylor would stop Jones if they were to fight, and I think Hopkins would beat Roy up. Now if Roy would considering engaging...his speed is still there. Too bad his heart never was and never will be. Roy Jones is a huge letdown as far as I'm concerned.
