My immediate reaction was "Never thought Arce would duck out." On replay, they were three flush illegal shots. But as mentioned, he didn't even want to take the five minutes and then when the fighted was waved over, he didn't seem to rubbing his head so much.

I like Arce. And it's hard to argue against getting hit with 3 illegal blows at one time (especially when we are not the ones in the ring) , but he was definitely playing on that injury imo. He could've taken the mandatory 5 minutes that was allotted to em after an illegal blow, and chose not to.

There's a good chance he tasted Rojas' power and decided to cut his losses that night.

The ref took at least 5 minutes before he even asked him if he wanted 5 minutes to recover, he could've gotten 10 minutes to recover.

But I personally give him the benefit of the doubt, if it was JUST the first 2 illegal blows and he quit hell yea he would catch heat but the one punch on the ear... Idk...

I could understand if arce would of quit after a low blow or a head people could call him a coward. But dude got hit with all 3 in a 5 second span. Look at the instant replay again. Rojas comes in with his head SUPER LOW. Arce ducks WAY DOWN and that causes the headbutt. Rojas goes for a clean body shot and Arce's elbow clearly causes it to hit low. If that elbow wasnt there it would have been a clean body shot.

There was nothing intentional about any of that. If anything it looks like Arce deliberately lowers his jaw into the top of Rojas's head.

Apparently none of you have been hit with illegal blows and even if you have you dont know how hurt Arce was. If he was really afraid of rojas why would Arce ask for a rematch. Getting hit with multiple illegal shots will affect you for the rest of the fight. So even if he could continue why should he. Why should he give his opponent that advantage.
