    Kelly progresses

Way too much Pavlik bashing. Kelly fought a very game, very athletic B level fighter... The kind that lasts the distance. Kelly has had a couple of tune up fights and got good work. Sure, early round KOs are preferrable and would have demonstrated his power at Super-middlewieght. We shall see, I have always been a Pavlik fan and its good to see him back and progressing. Kelly matches well with either Bute or Kessler. Froch would be a terribly difficult fight... Dirrell very interesting clash of styles...

I agree with you here..I don't think Pav did anything to say he should be in with Froch Ward or Kessler...

Pavlik would have horrible time against Dirrell, too mobile.

Pavlik beats Bute now. KO within 5. Bute has shown with Librado and Froch that he can not stand up to world-class pressure fighters and with Andrade, I use the term "world-class" loosely. If Librado Andrade can break you, a determined Kelly Pavlik certainly can.

Kessler would be a logical progression, possessing more grit than Bute but not quite the ferocity of Froch. I think Pavlik could take him to a tough but decisive UD.

Carl Froch would be next. I think that with the momentum from the other two fights, Pavlik would be prepared for his best shot at beating the Cobra. 50-50 fight.

No form of Kelly Pavlik can beat Andre Ward...

I give Pavlik about 60% chance beating Oosthuzien, too much risk not enough reward, Arthur Abraham, and cream puff chinned Bute are about the same level of risk...but much greater reward..
