This guy has fought at least 4+ times this year. I wish other fighters had that same work ethic.

This should be a very good stay-busy fight for Omar, Salcido is a game fighter, one of his best fights ever (I assume) was actually against the man in the main event, Escobedo. I remember their fight of Solo Boxeo several years ago, it's a classic. Hopefully Saldico and Escobedo will produce another classic in their respective fights.

And good **** Figueroa he's keeping busy

Figueroa is 22, he SHOULD be staying active, especially since he's stopping guys left and right with ease. Hopefully by next year, the quality of opposition will have noticeably increased. I would love to see him in there with Herrera/Paris/Gesta/Guzman. Fighting a bunch of tomato cans and no-hopers won't do you much good in the long run.

They should throw him in with a Paris or Gesta level type fighter, if he wins then bring on Herrera or Guzman. He could be champ by next summer if they move him right and keep stepping up the comp.

He should keep fighting no-hopers to close out the year and then come out with a vengeance next year. Four fights against relevant opponents, and maybe one of them could be for a title shot. Or maybe GB will match him up with someone relevant by the end of this year.
