No, I don't get how you make a thread about how Rigondeaux should unify if you already know that he can't do it because 2 obvious reasons

First, Nonito won't fight him and he has 2 belts.

Second, Mares is with GBP so that's already a deal breaker for a fight with Rigo.

Ownage Donaire is clearly ducking and can't fight Mares because of Toprank what can he do really.

Getting another belt from Nishioka would help make Rigondeaux make his case.

But Arum deals with Nishioka through an outside promoter. Rigondeaux and Donaire are both under Top Rank and would be easier to make for Arum so there isn't a real good reason those two can't fight. Rigondeaux can't fight Mares because he's GBP.

When I made the thread I didn't think about all the excuses that would be made for Rigo not unifying.

My point still stands though: if he wants to make himself an attractive opponent for Donaire then he needs to fight better opposition. Nishioka fits the bill nicely and there shouldn't be any excuses as to why that fight can't be made.
