For F's Sake Change Your Game Plan Donaire

Donaire is fun to watch but for fawks sake do something else. i see the same fight over and over again. all he does is show boat, dance around and keep repeating and waiting for that home run punch. its boring the fawk out of me now.

What happens when a guy can really punch and is skilled and on the same level? he's fighting nobody and he can't even do anything else.

He really has fallen in love with the one-punch KO, hasn't he? That **** would not fly against Mares or Rigondeaux.

donaire is very skilled but i think he has too much pride in his own shiet. everytime i see garcia try to talk to him he seems like he doesn't give a fawk and still do his own. i don't see any technique from him anymore. go to the body or something then pop the guy in the head.

He was trying to keep the fight exciting...

After getting floored Mathebula was in survival mode. If Donaire decided to wait and play the "bait and trap" game it would've been a boring fight.

Should the two fighters just stand at opposite ends of the ring for 3 minutes?

Donaire was forced into the aggressor role once again. You shouldn't be mad at Donaire for trying to get Mathebula the hell out of there. He was making a solid effort and landing solid shots.

              What should he have done?

So much athleticism and pure talent, but he has REALLY fallen in love with his power. When he just lets the fight come to him, he's spectacular. When he tries to force, sometimes you get ugly fights. That KD in the 4th made him look for the stoppage even more.

You can be the aggressor without being a one punch haymaker machine

In his post-fight interview, Donaire made it sound like he was angry that opponents remember to block his left hook instead of simply allowing him to land it over and over lol. This is why he wants Arce, cuz Arce would make him look P4P.

Donaire seems to forget about his game-plan when he fights, and then Garcia has to constantly remind him of what to do. He didn't really start fighting intelligently until the later half of the fight (using the jab, going to the body, etc.). He needs to drop some of the sizzle and flashiness that he's known for, and just fight more measured. He starts showing off his athleticism, and while the crowd may love that, it's a waste of time.
