He WANTS to fight Floyd, but Floyd won't leave off of his ridiculous 100% PPV offer.

It's kinda sad knowing Mayweather will retire and be known as "the guy who was scared of that Asian midget, Manny Pacquiao."

How the hell do you know what Floyd won't do? You Pac worshippers keep bringing up this nonsense and trying to blame Floyd for the fight not happening. Arum REFUSED to sit down with Mayweather's promoter to discuss/negotiate a fight between Mayweather and Pacquiao. That is why the fight did not take place in May. If Arum had sat down to negotiate the fight, I am sure an agreement could have been reached.

Floyd's phone call to Pac was a desperate attempt to make the fight happen in spite of Arum's refusal to negotiate. A phone call to Pac did not constitute a negotiation anymore than Arum's phony countdown clock did. Fighters do not negotiate fights. Promoters do. If a promoter refuses to negotiate, a phone conversation between fighters doesn't mean a damn thing.

As for the death threats, I believe that's taking it waaay too far. It's cool to be a fan of whatever you please, but when one's emotions exceeds his ability to make a rational decision, then it's time to hang it up.
