Jackie Kallen has something exciting brewing in Detroit. The former owner/operator of the famed Galaxy Gym in the 1990's is again pushing the boundaries as she has allied with Joseph Donofrio Promotions and The Majestic Theatre forming the new Galaxy team
With the Galaxy team will ofcourse be an amatuer boxing gym and eventually an amatuer team. This amatuer team will be a non-profit venture as will the fund raising boxing show that will be held at the Majestic Theatre October 28th, 2012.
Plans are to open the new Galaxy Gym October 1st, 2012. Being a non-profit venture this gym will need help with equipment: gloves, bags, ropes, head gear, shoes and even a ring if you have one just laying around somewhere..... anything that you think may help would graciously be appreciated. If you are interested in donating any equipment or possibly your time to this worthy cause please PM me. I know that Jackie would appreciate it and I most assuredly would aswell.
