I still don't (want to) belive they really want Canelo to fight Mayorga. I wonder, maybe they just want to fool people into thinking that way, to make the opponent they will really fight look better.

The only fight out of those 3 that gets any credit from me is the Punisher. Kirkland was being forced to fight injured & Ortiz never deserved the fight.

Besides, when do you ask yourself: How do you go from fighting the Punisher, to fighting the likes of Mayorga?? When Lara, Vanes, Trout & the rest of 154 is right there??

everybody did. not much more than a british domestic.


i believe they'll eventually let canelo air out and fight top guys for big money. the best earning fighters are usually at least among the rest.

They backed themselves into a corner so now they have no choice. They desperately need an opponent who's marketable enough to compete with the Martinez/Jr ppv. It's one of those moments when these smart business men turn into 10 yr old kids. Pride and business don't mix.
