Pac beat Bradley pretty easy in my eyes. Bradley doesn't have a lot of power at 147. Everybody saw what Pac did to Bradley their is no reason to see it again unless it's on regular HBO but no PPV. I will say this, this fight would have been closer if bradley wouldn't have hurt his ankle. Maybe that's why he didn't have to much power in his shots. Bradley ate straight lefts all night. I give him a lot of credit for hanging in there.
Does Bradley have any chance against Pacquiao in a rematch?

Bradley was never known for power. Your post seems contradictory I might add. If you admit that a healthy Bradley would probably look better, why wouldn't you wanna see the rematch considering the controversy surrounding it??Pac beat Bradley pretty easy in my eyes. Which was blown well out of proportion considering.Comment

Like I said no doubt that it was a mistake on Pac's part which I doubt he would make if the rematch was to come about.I had Pac winning by a few rounds but taking your foot off the gas is a step in the wrong direction. That's the same mistake JMM made against Pac in the last fight. When you have the reputation that Pac does and you are fighting a guy moving up in weight, who hurts his ankles and who can't really hurt you, you have to close the show, you just have to. It sucks but that is just the way it is because there are certain expectations that come with that status, that's why people watch him.
Not to say that is a reason to not give him a decision but it plays a part. Mayweather uses lots of head movement to avoid punches as well and people rave about it and call it defensive mastery. Pernell Whitaker moved so much in the ring, it was hard to keep track of him at times and he is known as one of the best defense boxers of all time.
I would not expect Tim to stand there and trade with Pac because Pac is a very strong, accurate puncher who throws very fast punches. If you want to call it surviving, I'll acquiesce but he didn't turn into a punching bag and lay on the ropes. He got away and re-established himself with the jab and won the final 4 rounds. If one wants to say he only won those rounds because Pac took a break and thought he had it in the bag, then I'll even acquiesce there as well. With that being said does that look worse for Tim or Pac saying he gave the final 4 rounds away to an injured guy that he was apparently dominating and it cost him the fight?
I mean I've never seen Bradley fight like that before so you might interpret that as him going into "boxing mode" whereas I saw it as him just trying to survive.
I wouldn't go as far as saying that Manny was robbed but he should have got the decision regardless because to me he clearly won the fight, in the same way that I felt JMM won their 3rd fight.
I'm sure if Manny had got the decision Tim's stock would have gone through the roof because he showed heart in there and put in some good work. But it's because of that decision he's getting so much hate which I feel is pretty harsh since it's not his doing.Comment

Mannys never knocked anybody out at 147 so can we stop with this Bradleys leaving on a stretcher bulls_hit.Last edited by Second Best; 07-07-2012, 09:11 AM.Comment
