BOXING crossed over to the mainstream this week when David Haye v Dereck Chisora was discussed on BBC’s Newsnight.
Robert Smith, the general secretary of the British Boxing Board of Control, was in the opposite corner to me in a debate over the Upton Park fight next Saturday.
But I was annoyed by some of the misleading comments that Smith made on air.
To start with he stated that Chisora was banned from boxing — that is not the case.
