against a guy named adonis rivas, ive never heard of him, have any of you? i know a coulpe people on here really like arce. from looking at rivas' record it appears that rivas is moving down two weight classes for this fight.... from bantamweight to flyweight..... is this unusual or what?? could this be trouble for arce?

the dude arce is fighting is probally a guy who jumps around 3 weight classes to make money, this is porbally his natural weight and he just ballons himself up to higher weights for money, no prob for arce just a keep active fight

I agree that it is much harder for a guy to make money at 112 than for a heavyweight.

However, Arce is a pretty big guy and he cuts a lot of weight to make 112.

This is a tuneup fight and he doesn't want to have to cut all the way down to 112 and he is fighting a guy that he should KO early just to make a few bucks while his managers try to get a 112 or 115 pound title shot.

based on the record the guy looks durable, the biggest names on his record look like he went the distance against Jhonny Gonzalez who is 118 lb champ, and went the distance against Diego Morales, Erik's brother and actually beat him in a previous engagement.
