for one its that he brings considerable talent but can't bring large money. For another you might agree to fight at 140lbs, then he comes in heavy, leaving you a choice between giving him a weight advantage or canceling the fight and not getting paid after training for 8 weeks

I saw his new opponent and it got me really frustrated. I didn't even comment on the the news. His new promoters are just trying to keep him busy, rather than waiting 1 year to get one big fight. At his age that's a good idea, he can't do a Winky Wright and fight every 3 years. I would like to see more well known opponents. It really sucks to see him fighting these guys.

Because he is a bum himself. He could have been something but he didn't take his career seriously.....just the truth.

This right here. He had oppurtunities and he wasted them. I wish him the best, but if it doesn't work out, he only has himself to blame.

It's true that he only has himself to blame, but he is not a bum. And don't act like he was never avoided. Remember he had to fight Funeka cause every one was scared of Ali, and no one was calling out Guzman. The Campbell fight that never happened, was going to be his golden ticket. The Soto win was good, but that Campbell win was the win he really needed, with I think the IBF, WBO, and WBA titles all on the line. He really messed up with that.

Because the dude trains like castillo and doesn't make weight. The t.v networks are tired of him and so are the promotors in boxing.

Dude hasn't had a good win since Soto at 130, and even there he runs out the clock. Gets a robbery draw, then comes in 9lbs overweight in the rematch and shows off his superior punching power, what a POS
