In a close fight that doesn't always tell the full story. If the majority of those clean punches and combo come only in certain rounds and the other rounds he is being chased round the ring, then there will always be a contentious decision.

Going full circle back to the original topic. The first fight was awful which neither fighter can really look back upon with pride. However Dirrell will probably look back and think if only he came to fight a bit more, he could have pinched it (hence it should be Dirrell seeking redemption). Froch will probably not give it a second thought, he has a good (but probably short) future ahead of him and the thought of fighting Dirrell again does not figure in those plans and neither should it. Some boxing careers are too short to be thinking about beating people "better".

Kessler has had a great run and I gave him the decision over Froch in that close fight. That being said, Kessler is done at elite level. That fight along with the fight against Ward took too much out of him.

Again, fights are scored rd by rd..You can't say I seen him land some clean shots in rd 11 or 12 and say he deserves to win based on that..Here's an even better vid..

awful performance by Dirrell, he just didnt fancy it, didn't want to fight. In a rematch i think he'd be even worse

Dirrell getting on his knees at the end and preying for a decision sums up his entire ethos.

In a rematch I think Dirrell would try to be more brave, and get stopped for his troubles...

yeah, Froch himself fought a sloppy fight, I think he'd invite Dirrell in more in the rematch, thats how to take out a runner like Dirrell, move on your backfoot like he doesn't expect, he will have to come in and boom.
