I hope we get Kessler-Froch II and Bute-Pavlik in the fall.

I think that fight would and should take place in a stadium in front of a massive crowd. In november there would have to be a retractable roof. I don't know whether the stadium in Nottingham has such a roof, but if it does not, I believe the chances of this fight taking place next just dropped by quite a bit.

That probably means that Kelly Pavlik will be a hot commodity if hé wins saturday. I'd expect both matchroom (Froch) and Sauerland (Kessler) to make him an offer.

I guess you cannot rule out Kessler as the opponent then.

Can't rule it out but Hearn's last update didn't sound positive about the Kessler fight being this Autumn, he was talking about the possibility of it happening next year.

Froch's promoter Eddie Hearn has no doubt the Kessler fight will happen.

He said: 'I think if I looked at mapping out Carl Froch's next three fights from a financial and career-prolonging point of view, I would take a top-10 defence this autumn, perhaps at the Nottingham Arena, then fight Bute in Montreal and go and do a job on him again, then in the summer have a big outdoor fight with Kessler.
