    Briggs on a roll.

Most considered him history but I tend to think in career 1 he was being moved way too fast. His new career he is a better fighter. He needs to fight at around 240 or so, that is a good weight for someone who is 6'4.''The big mark on him was that hs chin was not all that good, in sparring in ny he was easily rocked in sparring sessions with lou savarese. Also, in career 1 he boxed too quickly and used up all his energy early like tommy morrsion used to do, I think that is why he lost that fighter that knocked him out in the 2nd rd yrs a go. Anyhow now we see a new and improved shannon briggs...................He is marketable, he has good oratory skills also.......perhaps he is the future of the divsion........

To put it in baseball terms, Shannon is the classic nonexistant 4A divison player. Too good for 3A, not good enough for the best of the best.

Although at this time the divison is so terrible, Shannon could easily win a belt against any of the titlists.

Say what you want about the guy, but he's making bank. Since Scott Hirch took over Briggs management, Briggs has been on a roll with 5 fights in 2005.
