WBO junior featherweight king Nonito Donaire (28-1, 18KOs) appeared on a recent edition of BoxingScene's official audio show, The Boxing Lab to speak about his upcoming unification fight against IBF champ Jeffrey Mathebula (26-3-2, 14KOs). The fight will be aired live on HBO on Saturday.

Rigondeaux might be a worthy opponent but Nishioka is the best fight out there for Nonito.

I think Donaire wants to face Rigo, but I don't think he feels he's ready for that fight at the moment - so he'll face Nishi next......

After the Danaire Nishi fight - I think Donaire will feel like he's prepared for Rigo.....

Nonito is a freaky chicken, Rigondeaux is the best at 122lb, and one of the best all times, nobody can match his skills, Rigo is just in a different league.
