He won't wait for his asswhoopin from Kirkland because he rather fight a bum then drink and enjoy independence day like a normal American and Mexican on independence day. He won't fight Lara because its another donkey kong **** punch ko loss that's slicker then Kirkland. So if he has to fight a bum might as well fight mayorga but on cbs where itd be epic because Mayorga always come to fight and can hit. Canelos been rocked by lesser so it'll probably be competitive too. At least people remember him from Oscar and Tito.

I don't think Canelo should have to put his career on hold because Kirkland got hurt. They are both young and they can fight later. I have never heard of a Mexican being trashed for fighting on September 15th before. I am a Canelo fan and I want him to fight a top contender, not a bum. Mayorga has not won a fight in years and that fight would be an insult to the fans.
