    Could boxing be banned?

In the next 10 years or so i just read this article some anti boxing knobhead threw up on a different forum and it got me thinking a little with some doctors saying that if all doctors withdrew their services on fight night boxing events could never go ahead.Maybe im just shook after reading it

There's no way that happens because there'll always be a doctor who wants to earn an extra buck. And besides that, there are some doctors who are actually boxing fans too so they wouldn't want the sport to die. Doctors aren't going to unimously withdraw their services. I can't forsee any logical scenario where that would happen.

Went to see a neuro surgeon before about getting spinal surgery. I asked him if it would be safe to do boxing and he told it would be very good for me. So the idea that all doctors must be against it is a miss. A small percentage of doctors use fabricated and exaggerated stats to pain the sport in a bad light which could reflect poorly on it. Boxing fans are very gullible people who tend to believe such stats at the drop of a hat.

It would be really hypocritical in the United States or any country where MMA, American football, and/or hockey are huge, all involve just as much punishment to an athlete as boxing. That's why I wouldn't consider this as a possibility.
