Rahman now with Top Rank!
Promoter Don King has suffered another blow to his plans for a heavyweight tournament. A Federal bankruptcy judge in Las Vegas has invalidated WBC heavyweight champion Hasim Rahman's promotional contract with DKP, giving the OK to Rahman's three-year deal with rival promoter Top Rank. Rahman is slated to face James Toney in his next fight. Meanwhile, King is currently in litigation with IBF heavyweight champion Chris Byrd who is attempting to break his deal with DKP, as well.
