Chavez Jr. because of his ability to absorb power punches will breakdown Martinez with body punches if Martinez slowed down then his in trouble he needs to be on his bicycle the whole fight to win.

I favor Martinez 55/45 now. At 1st I favored him 80/20. People need to understand that Vegas will stay by the book as far as testing, glove size & ring size are concerned.

Chavez will have to pee. This sin't Texas. He won't get everything he usually does in Texas. Martinez still has some of the best lateral movement in the game, he'll need it all vs Chavez.

        You are 100% correct.

Lee is easy to hit and Lee was still winning when the fight was stopped. It is doubtful that Chavez will be able to stop Martinez or out point him. The bottom line is Chavez hasn't fought anybody. He is only taking this fight because the WBC is threatening to take away the title that he shouldn't have in the first place.

Martinez is going to beat Chavez up and put him out in the 11th round.

Martinez is levels above Chavez Jr boxing wise. That kid is going to get a thrashing.

Who ever says that sergio is overrated is crazy! What else does he have to do. And if he's overrated, them what is jr? Cause I can't really name a credible opponent he's faced! Be real with urself! Jr will probably get smashed! I'm tired of these protected boxers! Canelo, pac, Chavez, and Khan! The only way Canelo can compete with this fight is if he fight Cotto out Lara! Other than that, he make no ppv sales, cuz I'm looking forward to seeing Jr get tko'd by Martinez!

Most ringsiders thought the official scoring was a travesty, and in any case it was obvious even in the early rounds that Chavez's body shots would eventually wear Lee down and that Lee didn't have enough power to worry Chavez.

It is doubtful that any of the current Middleweights could beat Martinez. But Chavez is as good an opponent as anyone and has as much chance as anyone. He has enough ring craft since Roach took over his training to set Martinez some serious problems to overcome and to make the fight intriguing.

Lee was somebody. Not remotely in Martinez's class, but he was in most credible top 10s. He was a decent opponent.

He's taking it because money talks.
