I expect a tough fight. Both Chavez and Martinez have a strong chin. I expect Chavez to be willing to take punishment to get to Sergio's body. It should be a very good fight.
There are many, including myself, who are upset that Chavez has a belt when he didn't fight anyone to earn it. The WBC is at fault and it is hurting boxing when a fighter can become a so-called champion without taking good fights. That is why we are not seeing this fight until Chavez had over 40 fights.

I've always thought Sergio will beat Chavez. However until up to this point Im leaning on Chavez because I have seen Chavez's performance, this guy's a MONSTER. There are other factors such as Sergio age, he's almost 37 I think. I'm leaning toward Chavez now as he has incredible chin and more than decent power. You know how mexican are like, unstoppable warriors.
