Schaefer said a few days ago that Canelo's opponent had been selected already and it was not Bundrage or Lara. Either Schaefer was lieing or this is just Bundrage's wishful thinking. If it's true I rate this as an acceptable fight for Canelo since they tried to get him Kirkland and then Williams. It is not as good as Trout but 100 times better than Quintana. I won't believe anything for sure until Golden Boy announces it. If this fight happens I think this will be the 2nd veteran That Canelo sends into retirement.
