I don't care what Alexander or even Cunningham says. A one-punch KO-artist like Bailey is always going to find his way in your head because of that one punch power.

You saw how Jones respected Bailey from the opening bell and even more so when Bailey threw that thunderous straight right hand that went "whoosh!!" over Jones' head in the first round.

Alexander can't afford being tense like he was against Maidana. He will need to fight his fight and not be intimidated.

Bailey should understand that, Team Alexander knows how to create the hype around their fights. Bailey/Jones no one even knew that fight was happening, but Alexander/Bailey has a BUZZ already. Team Alexander keep doing what you are doing. Alexander/Bailey and Quillin/Rubio great card.

The fact is that it really is a good card. You can see who's casual & who isn't by the remarks.

Whatever though, if Alexander is really better then a B level fighter he should outbox Bailey fairly easy. I never thought Mike Jones was everything that so many people were making him out to be. Alexander has to be careful though, he tends to expend more energy in trying to grab and hold his opponent... many times leaving himself more open to massive punches while trying to do so. Alexander needs to forget doing those one/two then hold and waiting for the ref to break them. He needs to keep it on the outside, using his reach and jab and stick and move. It's when you stand still right in front of Bailey that these guys get themselves in to big trouble.
I agree Alexander should not stand right in front of Bailey(esp from range)..But I think Alexander should try to push Bailey back, most fighters that has beaten Bailey has taken the fight to him..I think Alexander can stop Bailey with the right game plan...Push him back be defensively responsible, but not scared to get hit..

I thought that was Jones biggest mistake,he fought scared and payed for it..I thought Jones could be something at WW,I still think he has a shot(everyone at WW does not have Bailey's power)but he has to get himself on track..He was very sloppy and had very(very)poor balance..I think I'm going to go with Alexander in this fight..Just because I think Alexander will fight with more conviction then Jones did,but I won't be surprised if Bailey pulls it out tbh...

Alexander is going to destroy this old ass dude. Boxing is just like WAR. During war it does not matter how big and explosive your bomb is if you can't deliver it to the desired spot. Bailey will start full of confidence, and a young skilled boxer with deceptive pop (Alexander) is going to take his will and further expose what Jones already did. Cunningham is going to determine the various positions Bailey likes to set up his big shots from, and non of those positions will be available. Once Bailey determines that his bread and butter is gone, he will get wild and end up getting clipped his damn self.

As far as Alexander and the lack of trash talk is concerned, it reminds me of the Godfather movies. Micheal Corleone didn't talk allot, but he kicked plenty of ass.

              Great Fight, Can't Wait!

LOL,,, poor Devon, one thing he knows is he can't allow one punch to land or his @$$ will be handed to him.

Just one, thats all, so if Bailey will get in shape and listen to his corner he has 12 rounds to land ONE shot,

I will be watching and if that shot lands I will be laughing when poor Devon hits the mat with his eyes crossed,,,LMAO

                  If Devon is that confident,....

Why doesn't he agree to 8oz. gloves like Mike Jones did? Watch his confidence leave as he on the canvas...

Your post shows a big misconception of Bailey..I've seen Bailey land on plenty of people and not turn their lights out..Devon has a good chin as well, now I don't think Devon can take shots all night..But as long as he is defensively responsible he will be just fine..

Oh **** Devon speaks, but I wonder if Cunningham wrote it down for him

Devon got this though, Bailey will stand there and just look for one punch but I believe he could get stopped before that punch comes
