inb4 Injury excuse, judges are always right, could've gone either way etc
Meh, at least in the case of the "shoulder" excuse, it's the truth. Which is evident by the rematch Castillo was given.

I'm gonna have to go with Castillo,it's the only fight I thought he lost..Or came close to losing...

Even knowing the intent of this thread, it makes me angry. There was nothing "worst" about any of those fights, on either side.

Floyd's worst performance was against Carlos Rios which took place at 130 in his home town, he may have won every round but he couldn't break Rios down or land cleanly, I would have to say that was his worst.

That's usually a fighter's worst performance, worst performances don't take place in competitive fights or big fights, they usually take place against overmatched fighters early in their career.

judah was one of floyds best fights, it took him a few rounds to figure him out but once he did he dominated. even before he figured hjim out he wasnt getting beat up or anything, judah was just being busier while floyd was studying him and breaking down his style.

castillo was a great fight, how many ppl could beat castillo with one arm? ppl dont realize how serious a torn rotator cuff is, vitali quit on his stool with a torn rotator cuff, vernon forrest and jeff lacy were out of action for like 2 years each and both had surgery. floyd meanwhile went 12 rounds with the best LW in the world and came out on top.

cotto and DLH are cotto and DLH, more importantly he fought them at 154 and didnt look great at the weight. looked like his speed and reflexes werent quite as good imo. he still won both fights comftorably and was in control from start to finish.

to me his worst performancet is against emanuel augustus. he got hit far more than in any other fight, he wasnt able to take control of the fight either. augustus controled the pace, the ring and the distance for most of the constest. floyd managed to beat him at his own game and didnt lose a single round but he was clearly uncomftorable for most of the fight and got hit more often and more cleanly then in almost all four of those other fights combined. he was forced to fight for every second of every round, he didnt choose to like against cotto. augustus made him.

I voted the Cotto fight. Mayweather is still very good but he is 35 and it shows.

Cotto was a good performance.......He beat him 10-2/9-3 and almost stopped him in the 12th.

Obviously it's Castillo in the first fight, but that's nothing to be ashamed about. Castillo is a 2x LW champ and one of the best LW in his era, and Floyd also had an injured shoulder during the first fight, and won the rematch handily.

And De La Hoya wasn't a bad performance either. Oscar realistically shouldn't have won more than 3 rounds, 4 at the most.
