Lopez hurt Ortiz to the body several times, Peterson didn't. How is Peterson the better pressure fighter when he throws one punch at a time? Lopez is also quicker on his feet than Peterson. Peterson is easier to keep at Bay than Lopez.
ur totally misjudging lopez based on one fight. u really need to watch more of the guy. i uggest u see his fights on espn or his fight vs. the perto rican dude, santana i think. lopez is a good fighter, but i dont know how anyone thinks hes better than peterson. he isnt. and yes, he wound up beating ortiz, but peterson fought ortiz pretty much the same way. in fact, both fights were similar, the difference being ortiz got his jaw broken in the lopez fight.

seriously, i suggest u go watch more lopez fights. the guy wasnt overlooked, hes good, but hes not some great pressure guy, hes not a margarito. hes more like a poor mans peterson in fact. they fight very very similar, except lopez cant fight off his back foot nearly as well. one fight doesnt all of a sudden make him a killer. boxing fans are way too fickle.

I just told you I picked him to give Ortiz hell and you're telling me I'm overrating him based on the Ortiz fight. You have reading comprehension problems. I never said he was better overall than Peterson I just said he's a better pressure fighter but there are things that Peterson does better : jabbing and countering. The fights were not similar, Lopez did a better job at protecting himself and did more damage than Peterson.
Who said he was a killer? Being a better pressure fighter than Peterson isn't some great accomplishment given that all the top 140lb dudes are pretty much B+ fighters. All I said was Lopez would give Bradley problems and apparently it was blasphemy...

I have to give the benefit of the doubt to Bradley in this fight. But Lopez's height & subtle boxing skills shouldn't be overlooked. 60/40 Bradley Lopez.

I think Tim Bradley f***ed most of the people on this site's mothers and/or sisters. You people hate him with a passion.
