Kessler was at his absolute peak and went on to beat Froch, who looks hof bound at this point.

Trinidad was out of his best weight class by two divisions and went on to do nothing important other than get dominated in his next big fight against Winky.

tito didn't do anything important because he basically retired for 2 years after he lost to hopkins.

Tito was 40-0, a MW title holder and a 6-1 favorite to beat hopkins. It was a fantastic win for Hopkins. There is no comparison between beating Tito and Kessler, none.

I'm not debating who was greater Trinidad or Kessler but beating Kessler in his prime at his optimal weight class is better than beating past prime blown up Trinidad, Trinidad is considered great for what he did at 147 not what he did at 160 people really need to take into account the huge size advantage Hopkins possessed.

          Trinidad was past prime?

Blown up welterweight? Trinidad didn't destroy guys at 154 and 160 before losing to Hopkins?

Also, hopkins didn't physically bully trinidad around the ring, he didn't use any size advantage. He picked him apart for 12 rounds using superior defense, counter punching and simply out boxing his ass.

Calzaghe was the slight betting favorite against Kessler.

Kessler was never that great of a fighter lets be honest. Good solid fighter but not a great fighter like Tito.
