Japan has been a little more accepting of the WBO in recent years. Hasegawa fought Montiel for it in Japan.

The IBF though is still disregarded because of the bribing scandal in the late 90s.

            who cares?
all the belts suck if they're not unified anyway
even Ring belt is losing luster due to the ****** new rule they made
lineal champs are the only ones that matter, in any country

Probably a good idea. I would hope more countries don't recognize some or even better yet all of these abc belts.
