Pov should fight Holyfield....give the Real Deal one more shot at the title.
Who should Alexander Povetkin fight?

To me, Povetkin is nothing special at all, besides the fact he is white. Even the Klitschko's are more exciting than him. I'd like to see him fight another nobody in Chris Arreola. lol Our nobody against yours. lol Or even Seth Michel, just to see where he's at. If he can't beat Povetkin, he won't be that good of a fighter. A 17 or 18 year old Tyson would knock out Povetkin easy. Sorry I always bring up Tyson, but its fun.Comment

Maybe a loss to Povetkin puts him into retirement? Would you rather have him face a Klitschko? or top contender that could possibly knock him out? Evander isn't going to retire until he is champ again according to him. If he fights Povetkin who is a paper champion and loses to him it can open his eyes and make him see he is done.
Also what ever happen to Robert Helenius?Comment

Poor Holyfield. I think he is so delusional He would still want to fight a Klitschko even if he lost to Povetkin. lol But in all honesty, I think he wants a Klitschko so bad because he wants a big pay day. Now that he's lost that mansion, its obvious he doesn't have as much money as a lot of us might have thought. I thought he would be one of those guys that was too smart to lose it all in the end, but I guess I was wrong.Maybe a loss to Povetkin puts him into retirement? Yeah it is very sad how a once heavyweight champion of the world had it all and now is in the situations he is in. I hope he retires soon.Poor Holyfield. For me it was a toss up between Wladimir, Arreola and Pulev.
The Wladimir fight won't happen unless Povetkin actually man's up. Can't see him wanting Cristobal either.
I voted Kubrat Pulev on the basis that I like Kubrat. Can't see it happening though.
It wouldn't surprise me if they went with Travis Walker TBH. Sauerland would find a way for that fight to happen...Comment

fight Wlad already
isn't regular WBA champ guaranteed a shot at super champ after 1 yr?
ideally, that fight happens after Wlad beats Thompson again
too bad Povetkin is too scared to do it
realistically, Povetkin-Adamek sounds good
so does Povetkin-ArreolaComment

It also comes down to who is available and willing. Pulev, Boytsov, or Adamek are the ones i'd like to see most. Abdusalamov, Ortiz, or Arreola would be quality too.
The WBA regular Champion has 18 months before he has to unify with the Super Champion so Povetkin can keep ducking until Feb 2013.
He injured his shoulder very bad 6 weeks before the Chisora fight and fought anyway in addition to breaking his hand in the first round. He had surgery after the fight and the doctors thought it may be career ending. Apparently it went okay and he's coming back though.Maybe a loss to Povetkin puts him into retirement?
