I scored his fight against Ponce De Leon a draw and PDL is not prime Castillo either...

broner isnt the next p4p king but hes a good fighter. i dont see how anyone can sit there and say he doesnt have a bright future. talent, youth, hunger and hes done quite well for himself already considering his age.

ppl bring up the ponce de leon fight which is like admitting they dont know **** about boxing. how old was broner when that fight happened? how much better has he looked since then? most importantly how many great fighters struggled at that same stage in their careers but learned formit and came back better?

look at pacquiao getting knocked out twice, hopkins losing his pro debut etc, i could sit here all day and mention young fighters who went through the same as broner or worse. every fight cant be easy work even when you are fighting guys you should make easy work of, broner is only human and he had an off night. the man is getting better every day, hes young.

he got past it and learned from the experience, i look at the ponce de leon fight almost as a reason why broner will be great. fights like that is exactly what young fighters need.

The bold is about the dumbest $h!t I ever heard. Lets get 1 thing straight bout that fight, it was supposed to be a stepping stone. Ponce's best weight was 122, he fought Broner at 130. Ponce is relatively known as a good ****er. He was there to make Broner look good.

Instead what transpired was Ponce fought the fight of his life & outboxed the young upncomer. Broner stood there & allowed himself to be tagged by a dwarf all night & lost in the eyes of anyone caring to keep it real. So because he looked better since then , we should develop amnesia?? Please.

Broner was ****y & it cost him. He should have gotten his well deserved loss. Tom learn that boxing is a professional sport & he should take the game seriously. **** him & his handout he was given. He may have improved since then, but that doesn't change that night.

Honestly, I rather have Moreno in a top 10 P4P list than having Donaire number fkin 4.

Anyway to get back on topic. I dont think Broner takes the sport seriously and I honestly think he probably drinks and smokes like at least on weekends. At least thats the impression I get, he is young as fk after all.

I guess what Im trying to say is you cant make it far if you dont take care of yourself. I also think his chin might be suspect cause they havent been picking any big punchers for opponents lately. Maybe something happened during sparring.

it's becoming abundantly clear that many of you guys dont actually know anything about boxing or care about the sport
you just watch the fights so you can talk ****. you are fanboys.

the undertones are generally racist. not neccessarily about "hate"
more of an "us vs them"

i dont get it. i really dont.

i see some objective posters here, but i see guys who dont like or like broner based on the color of his skin as well. it's painfully obvious. broner has that effect on people already.

hell earnie gabion picked perez to beat broner because he was a "hype job." that's not hate, but if that's not "us vs them" i dont know what is
who really thought broner was going to lose to eloy perez?
