Comments Thread For: EPIX Continues To Throw Support Behind HVY Division

It began as a risk when EPIX not only decided to throw its proverbial hat into the boxing ring, but begin with the heavyweight division. The moment that Vitali Klitschko’s heavyweight title defense against Odlanier Solis ended inside of a round, the ‘I told you so’ remarks already began to pour in.

Some 16 months later, EPIX still remains in the thick of things. Even more remarkable than the ability to measure up to American cable giants HBO and Showtime, is the fact that the network has done so by rallying behind what had become a neglected division.

My first experience with Epix was horrible. But you have to give credit where it is due and they have gotten better and better with each fight they have shown. And I for one am grateful that they have decided to show the fights coming out of Europe. Because watching them live sure beats watching them on You Tube a day or two later. So thank you Epix.

So how do I as a Comcast customer get to watch Epix ? According to wikipedia, comcast doesn't carry Epix events. I'm not on dish, so is there any other way to view these fights? Is it being streamed on the internet? Or do you have to be part of a cable / satellite provider who is affiliated with Epix ?

TBH their website is ****e. It doesn't mention anything about the boxing events, only streaming movies.

I also have Comcast and as you already know Comcast doesn't carry Epix. So what you have to do is go to the link I provided, and up in the right hand corner there is a link that says "Get a free trial" in red. Click on that and sign up for it and you will get two weeks free. And you can sit and watch the fights online. But do it on Friday July 6th so you can watch both the Wlad-Thompson fight on the 7th and the Haye-Chisora fight the next weekend on the 14th. It is beyond easy to sign up and enjoy the fights. Good luck!!

Cool, so it's not a PPV as such, just as long as you're a subscriber you're all set.. In that case I will become a subscriber. This is a fight I've gotta see !!!!

Who's the commentators ? How have their other productions been ?
