Agree with Schaefer 100% - Uncle Bob is only for TR "in-house" fighting. I would love to see a Donaire/Mares fight, but as long as Uncle Bob is drawing breath, the lies keep coming. Uncle Bob strings everyone along, promising Pac/May fight and not delivering. Now it's Donaire/Mares turn, then Gesta with some big name at 135. Uncle Bob telling "half-truths & whole lies." Aren't you all sick of the same kool-aide flavor? I know I am!!! Shame in you Bob!!!

If you look at TR's track record, a donaire mares fight at this point in donaire's development seems unlikely because Mares is a very skillful fighter and he isn't promoted by TR.

Abner Mares would be the underdog. I see no reason why Bob would be against making this fight as long as it makes him money. But I understand why Arce and Nishioka would be in front of the line.

Also, lets not pretend the last guy and next guy Mares is fighting isn't any different than Donaire's recent opponents. If anything, Vasquez and Mathebula are better opponenets than Eric Morel and Christian Esquivel.

I like the idea Mares - Rigo winner vs Donaire - Nishioka winner
