Acelino Frieitas. He quit against Diego Corrales and Juan Diaz, his two biggest and toughest fights. He retired after the Diaz fight.

This is a very difficult question to answer becaus most fights who quit will take a dive, so people will think they have been knocked out.

I'm still pissed at the Marquez/Ramos travesty.

you don't know that as much as i don't know that. It's something only margo (got banned for a year) and Capitello (banned from the ring for life for cheating) know.

Well put, he hijacked this thread into a "hate cotto" with his trolling.
Cotto's revenge is perfect...margo thinks he would have won if the doc didn't stop the fight, and will feel "robbed" the rest of his life.

Meanwhile Cotto got to fight floyd, and looked good even though he lost. He was very competitive. No shame in losing to pac or floyd. AND...he still has very good options, and will always be a ppv fighter.
That's why 'Agonist' is still crying. Get over it and move on.

                      Gerald Mcclellan
                      Miguel Cotto
                      Victor Ortiz

                      On a somewhat related rant...

The saying 'fighters don't quit' is a harmful and misunderstood quote. If anyone has actually boxed before, they would know how hard is it to even train let alone go 3 two minute rounds... I cannot imagine going 12 three minute rounds. The amount of damage these fighters can take is mind boggling.

It's only a sport. Maybe their family, kids, and their health are more important.
