Comments Thread For: David Price is Pulled From Planned Atlantic City Slot

Liverpool’s heavyweight sensation David Price will not make his U.S. debut next month as he has been pulled from the July 27 bill in Atlantic City – which will be headlined by Henry Lundy versus Raymundo Beltran – according to his latest blog entry on www.davidprice.co.uk. Price, 13-0 (11), had hoped to capitalise on last month’s British and Commonwealth title win over Sam Sexton by having a U.S. outing, but will now have to wait for his Stateside bow.

he needs a better promoter if his bout was cancelled cuz his promo had a cancelled contract w/Sky...poor planning...get an American promoter & he can work it form the US, much easier, believe me...

You may, or may not, be right Mr Smooth. But which one? Switching from a 3rd rate British Promoter to a 3rd rate American Promoter wouldn't help him. He's getting press in the UK & is known by many casual boxing fans there. Becoming an anonymous fighter in a dying sport (at least in America) would not help him. Things have changed since the days of Lewis.
