Good thing Richard Abril didn't listen to someone like you and think Rios was going to torch him. What happened to how Josesito was nowhere near Ortiz's league? We saw what happened there. Gesta will put up a great fight, win or lose.

Barnett is not a good prep fight for Gesta if he faces Vazquez after.

Vazquez is the best lightweight in my opinion. But it's a good step up fight since Gesta will unlikely be KO'd by Vazquez. I expect Vazquez to outbox Gesta silly. If that happens, Gesta can probably bounce back from that. Maybe if Gesta keeps it competitive, maybe Gesta can pull of a decision.

Props to Gesta for taking on the best if he does fight Vazquez.

Gesta has not beaten anyone worth mentioning and won't be facing any notable opponents before hand. Gesta is slowly improving and has good handspeed and is a little explosive. But Gesta lacks a lot of basic fundamentals, KO Power, footwork and etc. Too many holes to say if hes star material.

If he's improving a litle bit Arum should throw him in with Antillon, Kevin Mitchell, or Sharif Bogore. If he beats one of those guys convincingly then he might be ready for a title shot.
