I thought Marciano was a terrific fighter but I give him NO props for defeating Joe Louis. I knew Mike Tyson when he first went to Cus's house and worked his corner when he was a young J.O boxer, I give him NO credir for defeating Larry Holmes. Just as I give Holmes NO credit for his Ali bout. All of these men have other credentials that are high on a achievement list. The old lions have to be brought down, they simply don't know how to walk away. Some of them are robbered blind and need the bout to help survive and then theres the best of all time whose destroyed by the country he fought and lived for when his race was still abandoned. I've seen this same senerio on a low local level where a club fighter favorite fights for his fans until he has nothing left!
Every warrior needs someone who understands that mentality and has the respect of the warrior but so many are just taken advantage of its crime. Ray
