17-0 (4KO's!!!), A No Name & He's A Contender?!!!?
Boxing has so many tomato cans in these heavier divisions. And they aren't going to MMA, because none of this guys were really ever Boxers. It's just that our Olympic Boxing program has been and is still in the TOILET!!! Fighters are rarely developed anywhere anymore! Occasionally we'll have a lightweight or a middleweight that does something in the Olympics, but we no longer have TEAMS of fighters dominating the amateurs or Olympics. They are all protected and carefully managed so to find one big payday. Boxing doesn't remotely look like it did in the 60's, 70's and 80's!

Roy really enjoys the sweet science of boxing. This is a golden opportunity for RJ to silence everyone calling for him to retire. I expect him to take care of Glazewski and maybe win in 8. In my opinion, Roy will be CW Champion because he's motivated to win. So we may see Wlodarczyk vs RJ in the very near future. When or if he beats Wlodarczyk for the CW Title, my guess is Lebedev will want a rematch....and RJ will handle business. What makes these bouts so great for RJ is that he doesn't have to lose weight for any of these fights so being weight drained will not be an issue. Lastly, with Tarver coming up dirty after the Lateef fight, RJ's team may entertain a rematch possibility. Nevertheless, Superman has at least two super fights waiting for him if he can finish Glazewski. 1.) A super fight against Wlodarczyk for the CW Title and 2.) Maybe a rematch with Lebedev if he (Jones) knocks off Wlodarczyk. So, can "Superman" Jones Jr bring the villains to justice? On June 30, we are about to find out but I never bet against RJ.Last edited by jray100k; 06-27-2012, 02:02 AM.
