Difference. Floyd was still very active during his layoff, which was strategic in order to setup a more lucrative fight. Now he's not.

as a boxing fan i hope he is ok obviously. however i have very little faith that the fight we want will ever happen. and to be honest, i wouldnt be surprised if his cotto fight was his last.

So Paqcuiao is going to visit the place where Jesus Christ was born. I really don't know why he's still boxing. He no longer have the killer instinct in him in the ring. He's already rich. He's no longer the materialistic, womanizing kind. This guy should just retire, if you ask me.

Not only that, he doesn't have the kind of opponent who really wants to beat him. One covered himself with his gloves the entire fight, two ran all night and the other backpedaled. Paq's the champ yet his coward opponents always expect him to come forward. In Paq's last fight he presented himself as the champ and played counter puncher. His opponent run and wanted to play the champ. Just like JMM backpedaled all night. WTF! Can you believe that? Nothing will happen if Paq-man plays counterpuncher. They won't come forward. Alvarez-Cotto will happen first. It has to. Alvarez has to beat some guys like Trout, Kirkland, and then a big fight with Cotto first. Because it makes the fight a big fight if Alvarez is able to beat Cotto.
